Whether to entertain, educate, heal, or resolve conflict, stories are the most fundamental way that people connect. Certainly, trauma and turmoil affect our stories, but they do not define them. Narratives of fear and pain can also be transformed into stories of power, resilience and liberation. Kiran Singh Sirah will explore the power of storytelling, as a tool for building relationships, cultivating positive peace, (peace with equality & justice), how to work through difficult conversations, build empathy and cross-cultural understanding.
